My streak didn't break after a missed day — is that a bug?
No, that's the point. Steady On preserves streaks across skipped and frozen days within a weekly limit. Habit strength dips slightly and recovers as you continue.
Steady On for iPhone
Start here for questions about streaks, freezes, reminders, widgets, or your data. Steady On is made by a one-person studio — emails are read by the developer, not a ticket bot.

Auto-freeze is on. It inserts a gentle skip for yesterday's unchecked habits at launch. You can disable it in Settings → Automatic Freeze, or remove any skip from the day's history.
Check that notifications are allowed for Steady On in iOS Settings, and that a Focus mode or scheduled summary isn't holding them. Reminders are local — no network needed.
iOS refreshes widgets on its own schedule. Opening the app updates them immediately; re-adding the widget helps after an app update.
Settings → Data → Export backup (JSON), send the file to the new device, then Import backup. Steady On has no cloud sync by design, so the file is the whole story.
Use reset in Settings, or simply delete the app — all data lives on your device, so removing the app removes every trace.
