Panic Pilot for iPhone

Support

Start here for questions about the SOS sequence, the audio guide, reminders or your log. Panic Pilot is made by a one-person studio; emails are read by the developer, not a ticket bot.

Email support

Helpful details for a first message: iPhone model, iOS version, app version and the steps that led to the issue. Panic Pilot is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number; support email is not monitored around the clock.

Common questions

What happens when I tap the SOS button?

A guided sequence of four steps, about five minutes: paced breathing, grounding, a short reframing exercise and a body scan. The flame companion and a calm voice lead you through it. You can stop at any step; nothing is lost.

The voice guide is silent

Check the side switch and volume. In the app, Settings → Audio lets you choose whether the guide plays in Silent mode. Headphones connected after the sequence starts may need a restart of the step.

Reminders don't show up

Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → Panic Pilot and allow notifications, then set the time again in the app's Profile tab. Reminders are local; nothing is sent from a server.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your iPhone. Panic Pilot has no servers and no account. See the privacy policy; the short version is that nothing leaves your device.

How do I move my log to a new iPhone?

Your entries transfer with your normal encrypted iPhone backup (iCloud or computer) when you set up the new device. There is no separate sync.

What is the fear ladder?

A list of situations you avoid, ordered from easiest to hardest. Exposure sessions let you practise them one step at a time and record how it went, so you can see the fear lose its grip over weeks.

Does the app work offline?

Yes, entirely. The audio guide, exercises and journal are all on the device; airplane mode changes nothing.

How do I delete everything?

Delete the app. Nothing exists anywhere else, so that removes all data (except copies inside your own device backups).
