A method with roots.

Often called Japanese walking, Interval Walking Training alternates three minutes of brisk walking with three minutes of slower walking. The method was developed by researchers at Shinshu University in Japan.

ShinshuCore puts that rhythm into an everyday timer. It is an independent app, with no affiliation with or endorsement from the university.
