Dustwall for iPhone
Privacy Policy
Dustwall is a single-player tower defense game. It has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. It sends anonymous gameplay events so we can improve the game's balance, and it can keep your progress in your own private iCloud if you turn that on.

1. Who we are and scope
The data controller for the Dustwall: Zombie Tower Defense app and this page is Przemysław Bocer, an independent developer based in Poland, publishing as Byte Chimera ("we"). Contact us about privacy at support@bytechimera.com.
2. Anonymous gameplay analytics
To see where players get stuck and tune difficulty, the app sends anonymous gameplay events to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in Germany. The events include:
- Game events: for example mission started, mission won or lost and at which wave, upgrade bought, store opened, purchase completed.
- Technical context: app version, iOS version, device model and language.
- A random identifier created on your device the first time the game starts. It is hashed before it leaves the device. It is not your Apple Account, name, email, advertising identifier or any other personal identifier.
We do not link these events to your identity, do not combine them with data from other apps or websites, and never use them for advertising. In the App Store privacy label this appears as Identifiers (Device ID) and Usage Data (Product Interaction), both not linked to you and used for Analytics only. We keep analytics data only as long as it is useful for improving the game, and no longer than TelemetryDeck's retention period.
3. Optional iCloud saves
If you turn on iCloud Save in the game's settings, your progress (missions, stars, upgrades, loadout, parts balance and its purchase history) is stored in your own private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit. Only your iCloud account can read it; we cannot access it. With iCloud Save off, progress stays on the device only.
4. In-app purchases
Parts packs and the Scavenger licence are sold through the App Store and processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. The game stores the transaction identifier and the number of parts delivered so the same purchase is never counted twice. Refunds are handled by Apple through Report a Problem.
5. What we do not do
- No ads and no advertising SDKs.
- No tracking across apps or websites, no data brokers, no advertising identifier.
- No access to location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
- No sale of data. Analytics events go only to the provider named above.
6. Children
Dustwall does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The analytics described above are anonymous.
7. Your choices and rights
Deleting the app removes all game data from the device. iCloud copies can be removed in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Because analytics are anonymous we usually cannot tell which events came from you, but you can still write to us with any request, including under the GDPR, at support@bytechimera.com. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
